1974 Suzuki GT250 is in great shape for its age! This GT's are blast to ride but you better hold on! It goes down the highway perfectly and is nimble and quick in the city! The bike runs and idles great! Two to four kicks and she comes to life! I believe this bike to be about 95-98% complete and correct. If any experts want to verify that I will gladly update the listing! I will try my best to describe the bike in detail over the next few paragraphs but please feel free to ask any questions that I may not of covered. This bike is for sale locally. We reserve the right to end this listing at any time. Front End: The handle bars are nice and straight with no obvious bends or breaks. The gauges appear to be period correct and the glass on both have broken but still intact. The throttle, clutch, brake levers and cables all move smoothly. The front headlight works well and the bucket/ears are in excellent shape! The forks are not pitted and do not leak. The front disc brake works well and appears to be in good shape. The right turn signal lens is cracked but intact. The front rim is nice and straight and the chrome is pretty nice but does have an occasional rust spot. The front tire has good tread left and overall good shape. The front fender is nice and straight with slight surface rust and minor rippling of the chrome. There are no obvious dents or dings. Engine: The engine starts on the second or fourth kick and runs great. The only issue I had was trying to kick on the left side of the bike. Once warmed up the bike will idle perfectly. The carburetors have been ultrasonically cleaned, new plugs installed, points cleaned. A very clean motor for its age. The bike is missing the boot to connect the carburetors to the air box. The STOCK exhaust is intact and has very minor rust. Body: The gas tank has NO dents! There are some very minor scratches but not noticeable unless you look really hard. The paint on the tank near perfect.The inside of the tank is needs cleaned at some point but doesn't seem to affect the performance when using in line filters. The seat foam is in great shape and the seat cover has no tears or rips. The side panels are complete and in excellent shape.The rear fender and tail light are in excellent condition with no dents, scrapes or breakage but the chrome is rippling slightly. All rubber for the foot pegs are in good to great shape. Rear End: The rear rim is nice and straight with little to no rust. The rear tire is in good shape and should last another summer or so unless you like burn outs. The rear drum brake works well. The chain guard is in overall great condition with slight surface rust and pitting. The rear shocks have minor surface rust.The tail light is in great shape. Electrical:The headlight and tail light work great. The wire harness is intact and has a few splices but not bad for its age. The turn signals do not flash (probably need a new flasher unit which you can get on EBAY). Overall, the bike is in good riding condition and a blast to ride around! The GT250 will bring a crowd whenever you show up! Buy it now while its still affordable!
