For your consideration, a nice 1942 or 43 military jeep. It is actually an "ITM" jeep, a ww2 model that was rebuilt in France after the war. Some went thru rebuild twice over the years of their service in the country. This jeep has all its original data tags showing it to have been rebuilt in Maltournee - 1967. Interestingly enough, all 5 tires are dated the same year...and are in brand new condition, although dry rotted. I believe the jeep to have very low mileage . The jeep comes with a very rare paper trail documenting its release from US zone in Germany, sent to France, and later imported by Sarafan motors in NY. Also is the bill of sale to the first civilian owner. Papers indicate serial and registration numbers. The jeep has a nice condition willys ww2 frame, an early GPW body, and a french engine block. All the accessories are a mix of manufacturers. Everything appears wear free, the engine and transmission are tight. Linkages in steering are as new. Unfortunately the previous owner left the jeep on display outside in his estate, and let the elements ravage the body, especially the floors. The frame and running gear are fine, as are most of the accessories. All the hard to find accessories are present and original. no reproduction parts on this jeep. It would be a great restoration project, possibly with a new body, or repair the original...depending on ones skill level. A very rare and unique jeep to have been overseas, and then returned in rebuilt condition. Looking for a dedicated collector to restore to her former glory...Sold as is no warranties.
