You're viewing a stunning custom C5, adult-owned and babied !! This car is a real head-turner and commands a ton of attention. I'm constantly receiving thumbs up and catching people taking pics and posing next to it. I've been told on several occasions that this C5 looks better than the factory C6 & 7's. I designed the paint scheme and had a local shop paint it just two years ago. The paint is fresh and extremely glossy, as can be seen in in the pics. The car has been adult-owned and not driven hard or torn up. It has only had 5,700 miles a year put on it and doesn't see rainy days. It put out 350 hp and 350 lbs of torque stock. I have added a Blackwing Cold Air Intake, Magna Flow straight pipe Exhaust, and a performance tune. This has the car at roughly 380 hp and 36 MPG @ 70 MPH in 6th gear, 38 if behind a truck. Most people don't believe me when I list those MPG numbers, so I will take a video for any serious bidders. The transmission shifts flawlessly and the car accelerates quickly with no stalling. It is a 12.9/13.0 1/4 mile car at the moment and there are no mechanical flaws whatsoever. The car sits on 18" rear/ 17" front C6 rims. The Rear tires are nice and wide at 295/35 with the front at 265/40. The interior is nearly flawless. There are no cracks on the dashboard or panels. The seats have minimal wear and tear, with no slits or tears. The carpet is stain-free and all interior options are in perfect working condition, including the speedometer that lights up on the windshield so you don't have to take your eyes off the road. A Jensen flip-screen head unit has been installed. I have included pics of it's multiple functions. It serves as a Radio, CD Player, iPod station, Navigation, and a Secondary Speedometer which tracks both Average and Top Speed. Last, but certainly not least, it has a driving camera. This is NOT just a backing camera, but it operates in DRIVE as well !! There is nothing more fun than taking this car on the highway and watching the cars disappear behind you and tree leaves flying up on the camera !! I am a part-time detailer and just polished, finisher polished, and waxed the car 2 months ago. I also waxed the inside of the doors and shampooed the carpet as well. The coolant was flushed at 65k miles and the Oil and Oil filter (Mobil1 Synthetic) have been changed every 4k miles. The wheels were just balanced last week. I have NGK spark plugs for the car that I will include in the sale for free as well. Absolutely nothing has to be done to this corvette!! The brakes and rotors are in perfect working condition and with it being in the South it's entire life, the undercarriage is in fantastic shape. The headlights, taillights, turn signals, fog lights, and headlight motors (that flip the headlights up) all function perfectly. The CAI and exhaust combine to provide the car with an amazing roar. There is nothing like being behind the wheel of a show car and listening to the roar of the motor as you shift, while having the full visual of the camera. FLAWS:1. The glass targa top has a large fade spot on the passenger side. I can provide pic upon request.2. As with all Vettes, there is a leak. As OCD as I am with my cars, I did not fix this leak. It only comes from the roof of the driver side and only leaks when there is hard rainfall or washed by a pressure washer. If it's simply covered with a car cover when it rains, it won't leak. If you avoid pressure on that one spot at the top when washing it, it won't leak then either. It simply wasn't worth fixing with it being a secondary sunny-day vehicle. The Weather Stripping above the driver and passenger windows was replaced 2 years ago. They should hold up at least another 7-10 years. I had a friend from Safelite Auto-Glass install a rubber gasket around the weather stripping as well. It has worked perfectly and I have not experienced any of the typical leaks in those areas with the reinforced rubber acting as a gutter for rainfall.3. My girlfriend heard a squeak when I was parking a few days ago. I initially thought bushings may be bad, but we haven't heard anything since. I jacked the car and checked the wheel and tried to shake it but it was solid, so it definitely isn't a bad tie rod. I will pay close attention and if anything is detected, I will look into it immediately. I take pride in my 100% feedback score, so I am thinking of any possible flaw. Every vehicle I have owned has been immaculate. I enjoy playing around with the vehicles and keeping them pristine. I have owned this car for 3 years and it has NEVER MECHANICALLY BROKEN ON ME. I have not fixed a single thing on this car, EVER. From power, to fuel economy, to dependability, the LS1 is hands-down the best motor I have ever owned.
