Most Corvette enthusiasts know the legend of the ’78 Corvette Indy Pace Car. This was the first of many Corvette’s to Pace Indy, but this Pace Car is credited with starting the Corvette speculation craze, but that’s a story for another time . . .

However, there was another special edition Corvette that came out in ’78. To commemorate Corvette’s 25th Anniversary, Chevrolet introduced the Silver Anniversary Edition. This Corvette featured special two-tone Silver Anniversary paint with pin striping, YJ8 aluminum wheels and sport mirrors. Interior choices were Black, Oyster or Red. The beautiful and original example presented here is one of the nicest we’ve ever had in stock. Having traveled only 5,800 miles since new, it looks runs and drives . . . like a 5,800 mile ’78 Corvette! Meaning excellent! It’s loaded with options including, A/C, AM/FM Stereo 8-track (tapes included!), P/B, P/W, tilt/tele wheel, leather seats, cruise control and more!
