This is a decent 1972 Chevy K20 4X4 3/4T long Box Pickup. Runs good. Drives good. I use it often. Prior to me purchasing it a couple years ago, the truck had been sitting for about 10 years. After getting it home, I freshened the engine with new plugs, wires, coil, cap, points, rotor, changed oil, and filter. Installed a new Edelbrock carb., new fuel tank, headers & exhaust system, new radiator and new brake lines where needed. Also installed a 4" Rough Country suspension lift including new shocks on all four, plus steering stabilizer. Because I only went up 4", I did not need to change any linkages, etc. Added a set of nice tires which have very little wear. Then because the truck had 10 years plus of crud and dirt on it, I sanded the truck down and put a coat of primer and paint on it. Not a professional job by any means, but it looks a lot better than it did. I stayed with the original white color. Still has the original 350 engine and 4 speed manual transmission and transfer case. All of which work good. Truck has 54,000 miles on odometer, which I believe to be correct. Replaced both u joints on drive shaft. Front and rear differentials seem to be good, and function properly (I changed fluids in both). Lock outs work good. Power brakes and steering. Brakes work sufficient to be driven but should probably be replaced with new or upgraded. Always starts. Lights work. Everything on the dash works. Added a tach and new oil press. and water temp. gauge. Truck has clear title. I use the truck often. Drives fine. Clutch works good. Heater fan works and heater/defrost seem to work. All glass is good. Has a sun roof which works good, and I've not seen it leak. Kind of nice to have in the summer. I've included a lot of pictures of the body to show it's condition. Has rust holes in cab corners, and a few other areas (underside of doors, fenders, etc.) which should be seen in pictures. Rockers on each side need replacing. I have new patch panels for rockers and cab corners, which go with truck. Steering sector/box started seeping a little at the shaft seal. I picked up a new seal and it will go with truck. Probably won't get time to replace prior to sale (steering operates fine). Other than the rockers, the floor is pretty solid. The bed has a bed liner in it which works good. I think the bed liner was on the truck for quite some time because bed is rusted under liner. and on top of rails. Probably a good candidate for a new bed. However, as you can see in the pictures, with the bedliner in, it looks good, and it is solid. Bench seat is good. Doors open and shut good. Frame is in good shape, no indication of frame repair or accidents. Hood is good. Tail gate looks good, but does have rust on bottom/underside. Good old truck that drives and runs, and looks pretty good too. Finish the restoration or install the included patch panels and drive as is. Either way, it/you will get noticed when driving it.
