Time has come to part ways with my beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang. It has a built 302 with an estimated 350hp. Strong Automatic transmission. Everything is in excellent shape and the car runs very, very well. Very torquey. So much in fact, at a long red light you may need to put your second foot on the brake pedal. :) It wants to move. Everything was completed over the last 5-6 years and over the last 3000 miles, so the car is in great condition. 92,XXX original miles. Shows excellent and gets thumbs up everywhere we go. Has been shown in a couple local shows and gets a lot of looks - My kids love cruising around town in this thing simply because of the attention it draws. Was built to be used as a daily driver, although it hasnt been used that way! Car is garage-kept. Keep in mind, it is nearly 50 years old so has a couple rattles like any old car would. Carburetor was rebuilt this last spring, maybe 250 miles ago. There are still upgrades the new owner can complete - upgrade to a 4bbl carb, sequential taillights, Shelby stripes - whatever your heart desires. This is an awesome car that is turn key ready as-is, or customize to your own personality. The only flaws in the car are as follows: A couple small rock chips and scuffs from use (but nothing real obvious). A mechanic closed the hood without making sure the wingnut for aircleaner was all the way snug so there is a little bump dead center of hood. Currently has a Cassette deck that keeps blowing a fuse (also causing the floor/door lamps to not work). I have a used CD Player to throw in for new owner. Brakes need adjusted/bled, they arent old but feel pretty soft. Timing might be off a little, could be checked. Otherwise, as I said, this is a dependable good running car. Drives just fine the way it is, but I want to disclose everything. I might have a chance to get the CD player installed, so I'll keep the buyer updated on that. Feel free to ask any questions! Car is being sold as-is, where-is. You could drive this baby home, or have a transport company come and pick it up. I have piles of reciepts and the motor has over $6000 into it alone! Shop manual and everything will go with the car. A $500 non-refundable deposit will be due within 24 hours of auction end, balance due before the car will be released.
