1962 Buick Skylark Special ConvertibleHere is a very nice looking and clean 1962 Buick Special Convertible. The motor is a strong running Original Buick 215 cubic inch motor. The automatic transmission shifts great! Breaks work great! The interior is in great shape! The carpet, door panels and seat covers are all newer and just about perfect. The dash is also in very nice condition and was repaint and recovered! Everything works with the exception of the wiper motor, horn and the original radio (which I will work on tomorrow) . The car has had a driver quality repaint about 10 years ago. It still shines up and presents well but does have some runs, scratches and nicks. The car is pretty much rust free (outside of some small rocker area bubbles) but there are some areas that I can see had some body work done prior to paint (drivers door lip, rocker area and rear quarters). There is new trunk weather stripping, new speedometer cable and new shocks. The convertible top is newer and in nice shape with a clear rear plastic window. New convertible top boot! The frame is in good condition! The floors are solid but have had some fiberglass repair in the past that has been done correctly! The trunk is also solid. Tires have about 70% tread. I also have all 5 of the original rims (including the spare) as well as all 4 original wheel covers! This car turns plenty of heads!
