1978 Chevrolet Nova Rally Sport, numbers matching 250 6 cylinder with 3 speed manual transmission, power steering, power brakes with laser stripe and emblems were the part of the Rally Package on this Nova to the best of knowledge. This car is mostly original except for the 3 speed Hurst that was put in after the fact. It was originally a 3 on the tree. Everything else on the car other than the radio seems to be factory. There is still documentation in the glove compartment dating back to the original sale. The trunk jack is still mounted in its same position as new, the spare tire is in place. The trunk mat is factory. I have the correct Rally wheels, trim rings, and caps for the car. When I purchased this car I kept copy of previous title. Last transfer was 10/20/86 and at that time the car had 73,048 miles. which means no one has owned this car up till now but me. The mileage is at apprx 14,xxx, so that tell me that this car has been driven around 40k since 1986. The glass is all factory, can tell by the hazing and a 1981 park sticker that is on the windshield. Since I've owned it the only things I have done to it are oil filter and change. New belts, air cleaner, rear adjustable air shocks, and keystone 14x8 rear and 14x7 fronts with good rubber all the way around. This car runs and drives smoothly and I would trust it to go anywhere. Fly in drive home! There doesn't appear to be any serious previous damage to the car and the title is clean. The body guys tell except for touch ups this sports its factory paint,, camel tan/beige I believe they called it? Brakes work good, could possibly turn the rotors up front but nothing serious. Radio Am/Fm cassette replacement, factory cut out were in the rear shelf which could have been an upgrade for the rally, unsure? Wipers work both speeds, all running and lights work properly. The heater works but the adjustment knob is broken not a big deal, easy fix. This car isn't a rattle bucket and drives true down the road. Maintains exceptional speed all day on the interstate and has the capacity to pass with good acceleration. It looks like the rear quarters are in good shape except where I can detect some mud/bondo? behind each rear wheel, and amateur job but ok? The trunk pan and the floor pans are solid, this car was sold out of Nebraska and still shows the dealer tag on the trunk. This car is just plain out cool!
