1973 Honda SL350 in great shape! The original unmolested Candy Panther Gold/Yellow paint is a very collectible color!! This is a vintage 1973 Honda SL350 K2. The K2 is lighter and has a larger front wheel (21in) than the earlier K0 and K1 generation Honda SL350s. I will make every effort to describe the bike both good and bad. First of all, I am not an expert on this motorcycle but I believe it is about 95% complete and correct. If there are experts out there that want to correct me then please send and email and I will update the listing. This bike has slightly more than 7700 original miles! The bike starts on the first or second kick every time! The headlight and tail light both work. The speedometer and the tachometer appear to be correct and are nice and clear.. The handlebars are nice and straight and don't appear to be bent or straightened. The hand grips are in great shape along with the clutch lever. The brake lever appears to be slightly bent on the very end. The mirror is in good shape but the chrome is pitted. The front forks are nice and straight and do not leak. The front tire and rim are in great shape but the rim has some slight pitting. The front brake works great! The engine is complete and in great shape with no major leaks (however there is an occasional drop of oil after being ran hard). The engine serial number is SL350E- 3013974. The carburetors have been recently taken apart and ultrasonically cleaned. The bike shifts thru all gears with no issues. The rear tire and rim are in good shape but the rim has some pitting in the chrome. Both of the side covers are in great shape for their age and have no cracks in them. The gas tank is in great shape with only a dime size dent in the top/right side close to the seat. The tank has surface rust inside but nothing major (I installed inline fuel filters just in case). The seat cover is not original but has no tears or rips. The front and rear fenders are in excellent shape and have no dents (only minor scratches and scuffs). The kick start/ shifter/ and brake levers are all nice and straight! The right side muffler is rusted and will need replaced but the left side appears to be solid. Overall, this bike is in great shape! The bike comes with a clear title. This bike is a great candidate for restoration!
