It’s hard to believe 30 years have passed since the C4 was introduced to a public very anxious for the first all new Corvette since ’68! But with the exception of the engine, this Corvette was indeed a "clean sheet of paper". This was the Corvette that was going to compete with the best of what Europe and Asia had to offer and was indeed one of the best handling sports cars offered on the market at that time. It could corner at 1g with the optional Z-51 suspension and had tires designed by Goodyear specifically for the car. The new car has better weight distribution, lower center of gravity and featured 4-wheel disc brakes with aluminum calipers. The suspension utilized transverse plastic leaf springs front and rear. But, what seemed to cause the most discussion with the all new, all electronic (with the exception of the odometer) instrumentation with digital readouts and liquid crystal displays. The C4 would evolve into the world class sport car it was meant to be before ending it’s 12 year production in ’96. But, there’s only one "first time" and we’re pretty sure most Corvette enthusiast remember the first time they every laid eyes on an ’84 Corvette, whether it was a poster on your bedroom wall or streaking by you on the freeway!

As ’84 Corvettes go, this is one of the nicest we’ve seen since . . . well, ’84! It’s a CA car that’s got just a bit over 9,400 miles showing on the odometer and it looks the part! This Corvette will take you right back to ’83 when the car made its debut. From its pristine Bronze interior, to it’s beautiful two-tone Bronze paint to its Goodyear VR50 radials, this is an ’84 that anyone would be proud to own, show and drive! And a fitting way to celebrate the car’s 30th Birthday!
