For your consideration, a used but low mileage 1972 fj40. I Bought it from the original owner, he stated on numerious occasions that there was low mileage due to the fact that it was used primarily during hunting season, and not as a daily driver. Odometer reads 28607, and appears to still be functioning although speedo needle is fallen off.. Body needs complete restoration, has makeshift repairs done all different places. Been repainted probably three times in its life. Has an interesting heater sitting on the rear floor. Seats are the originals, as is the fuel tank. The good part of this vehicle is the original 6 cylinder, excellent running engine, and the rest of the drivetrain. Frame has surface rust all over but should clean up nicely. Steering is tight, not sloppy. Great oil pressure, and no smoking or unusual noises. A great vehicle for complete restoration, or for someone with a good body to place on this chassis.
