This auction is for a 1994 BMW R 100 GS, This is a one owner bike. The bike is in poor condition from prolonged storage. It has not been on the road since about 1997. This motorcycle was sidelined because of a transmission issue. The transmission was run without any oil in it, and ended up sounding like it had a bag of rocks thrown in the gearbox. This bike has a separate oil supply for the engine so the motor was not affected by the transmissions failure. There is rust and corrosion due to being stored in an unheated garage for all these years. I,m sure things like the brakes will need seeing to as well. The motorcycle has about 32,000 miles on it. which was racked up mainly by a long commute. It has had very little off road use. The bike has fallen over a few times but has never been crashed. (hot pavement/soft ground sucks). There are a few scratches to the underside of the crash bars, other than that there doesn't appear to be any body damage. This auction come with the hard saddle bags the tank bag and a cover. One of the saddle bags had the lock mechanism pull out from the latch. It still can latch but it will no longer lock to the bike. I can email additional pictures upon request. I hold a clean title for this motorcycle. I have the original key. I'm offering this bike AS IS, WHERE IS. I will help in any way that I can with your shipping needs, For an additional fee of $250 I will be glad to crate this bike up, I can knock $50 off of that price if you do not mind if I take the fairing and handlebars off to clear a 48" height.
