OLD YELLER 1989 Honda GL1500 GoldWing 82,500 miles Located in Viola, Arkansas 72583 This motorcycle is a good running good riding machine. It is a good looking motorcycle, but it is not a show machine. I have been riding it daily and it is a joy to ride. I have checked the fuel economy and it gets around 37 mpg riding double. A great thing about it being yellow, no one has any excuse for not seeing it. A great thing about it being 25 years old, it can be licensed as an antique in Arkansas. (I don't know which other states this applies in.) Here are the good things about this motorcycle. It starts good and runs perfectly.It has plenty of power. Riding double is no problem at all. The alternator was replaced about a year ago and it charges perfectly.It has new EBC brake pads on the front and the rear.The seat was professionally reupholstered a little less than a year ago.It has reverse and it operates as it should.It has a number of nice looking Show Chrome and Kuryakyn accessories on it.It has driver floorboards with heel/toe shifter. It has a good clean Arkansas Title.It has never been wrecked.It has a Markland trailer hitch. At 25 years of age and 82k miles, it does have a few flaws and worn pieces. The right rotor cover has a fin broke out. (photo provided in the listing.) Small miscellaneous chips and scratches in the paint. The switch that turns on the cruise control is broken. Cruise worked perfectly until the on/off switch broke. The neck bearings are a little loose. They either need to be adjusted or replaced.The clear coat on one the right side cover is peeling (photo provided in the listing.)The left lower fairing chrome edge accent is missing. (photo provided in the listing.) There are a few very minor cracks in the plastic. Lower part of the fairing.There is a small leak in the exhaust somewhere. It pops every now and then under deceleration.I believe it could use a new air filter and probably an oil change sometime soon.After it has sat a few hours it will puff a little smoke when you first start it.Sometimes the speedometer whines. (I have found if you stop and take off again the noise will stop.) It has a CB, but it does not work because the radio is not stock. The AM/FM part of the radio does not pick up stations well. However, the SD Memory Card slot plays music perfectly. It has fell over 2 times that I am aware of, but I do not believe it has ever been wrecked. I estimate the Dunlop Elite 3 tires have around 30% wear remaining. Sorry, No trades. Sold as is. No warranty. No personal checks.
