We are very pleased to offer for sale this magnificent 1936 DeSoto Airflow.     This car underwent a multi-year, ground up, frame off restoration and has very few miles since completion.     The body was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal.  It was re-painted its original color using a base/clear system.  The paint is perfect.  No imperfections of any kind.     The interior was completely redone using all correct exact reproduction materials ordered from SMS Auto Fabrics and the Airflow Club of America.     Mechanically everything has been restored.  The engine and transmission have been completely rebuilt.  It is powered by the original flathead six cylinder with a three speed transmission and overdrive.  It runs and drives excellent.     It has a complete new wiring harness.  All gauges have been rebuilt.     Every piece of rubber and weather strip has been replaced.  All glass is new.  All trim has been polished and every piece of chrome has been re-plated using triple plate show chrome.     Everything is new or rebuilt.  Everything works properly.  This restoration has been completely documented with a photo album and receipts.       This car would be a fierce competitor at any AACA or CCA car show and is definitely one of the nicest ever restored.     We have the original manuals, original keys, and complete photo album of the restoration.     For more information please call 954-422-2895.     *  The above referenced vehicle is being sold as is with no warranties and by bidding, should you be the auction winner, will accept said vehicle with all faults despite any prior written or oral statements.  It is a 78 year old automobile and condition evaluations are subjective which is why we highly encourage interested parties to view the car in person prior to bidding.  The above description is our personal opinion and for our own identification purposes only and should not be relied upon in your evaluation of this automobile.  This car may be viewed at our showroom in Pompano Beach, Monday-Friday, 10:00am-4:00pm, by appointment only.  For more information please call 954-422-2895.
