1973 FORD LTD BRAUGHAM 2DRHT This auction is for a survivor rust-free Southern car that was purchased and lived all it's life in NW Arkansas, where salt is only used on our BBQ. Super-straight, two owners, never wrecked or smoked in, garaged all it's life. It is 99% original. I am selling the car for the second owner who has moved out-of-state. EXTERIOR The car is a true 2DRHT, a beautiful tan vinyl over Chocalate Brown Metallic. The body is straight with original paint and no visible dents or rust. It could use a good polish to make it show worthy. The grille, chrome and stainless are amazing...shiny and straight. The plastic lenses are clear with no cracks. All glass is excellent, with no signs of de-laminating. INTERIOR It is equipped with the optional high-back split-bench front seat with armrests and the driver's side is power. The upholstery is a beautiful dark brown vinyl that resembles leather. The front seats are excellent and the rear appears unused. Dashboard, door panels, headliner, steering wheel are all excellent. The carpet is good, but could be re-stained. It has an optional AM/FM radio (factory) and it and all switches, lights, wipers, horn, heat and air all work as intended. The AC blows cold. DRIVELINE Powered by the desirable 429 big block, it has a 4bbl carb and is backed by a C-6 auto. The engine does not smoke or leak and has a new water pump and pulley. CONDITION This is a true survivor two adult owned car, rated as 99% original (the 1% being normal replacement items). It has never been wrecked, molested or modified. There are no known flaws noted or repairs needed. The tires have 50% tread, but the ORIGINAL spare is still in the trunk and the jack appears as if it has never been removed. It has an excellent original trunk mat and the car comes with a car cover. NOTES I am acting as the seller's agent for the duration of the sale. It is reported herein to the best of my knowledge after meeting with the owner. The car is offered as is-where is, with no implied warranty. It is a 41 year old car.
