Last Winner didn't call, contact or pick up, so here we go again. Bought this for my son a couple of years ago to use as a touring bike (because I have a full dress GoldWing) He didn't want the fairing. Well he bought a Harley and I was stuck with this. I replaced a lot but never road it. It has BRAND NEW tires, good brakes, new plugs, new throttle, Speedo and choke cables, new seat cover, all the lights work, New starter and 2 year old battery. It starts and runs BUT... but it doesn't run on a slow idle and if I keep it at a high rev for too long I can see gas in the carbs chamber by the air cleaner. Definitely a carb cleaning or something in there needed but the carbs were rebuilt before I got it so I'm thinking it can't be too bad. The only other issue I know of is that the cluster lights must have a bad ground wire because the oil, neutral, gauge light don't come on but I know the switches are good because if its not in Neutral by using the foot switch or hand lever it wont' start. It is missing the two long screws that hold the gauges completely closed. I am including fork seals as it probably needs them (not a bad job I have done that a few times myself) I can make it go through the gears while on the center stand, but I haven't run it too long maybe 15 minutes at a pop. Engine runs good and has about 36K miles on it with good compression you can NOT DRIVE THIS HOME!! The saddle bags are not on it now but everything goes with it. I have $1600 into it but I will not go lower than the reserve. I just can't, so don't bother asking (plus I'm gonna lose $60-$120 for ebay and paypal) Expect to pay what you bid. I will hold the bike for up to 3 weeks with a $75 deposit at auction end. It is also listed on craigslist (where there are no fees) so I may end the auction at any time.
