First, this is NOT and average 1973 Mach 1. This is a High Class Show Car with a MCA Pedigree. One of the finest in the Country! This was a custom ordered, late built Mach, with every option available in 1973 except power windows. Everything but the clock works perfectly. The engine is tight, smooth, and drip free. Originally a Gold Glow with a 3/4 Vinyl Roof, this car was taken down to it's original, rust free metal and treated to a show quality perfect 2 stage paint job in Fords eye catching Grabber blue with argent strips. There is no rust anywhere on this equisite car. The exterior is truly perfect! Last year it took first place in the Occasionally Driven class at the 2013 MCA (Mustang Club of America) Grand Nationals at Disney. It is judged for quality and workmanship, and this car did not disappoint. It came away with only one deduction, and it was for a minor ding in the passenger side windshield chrome molding. She rides on newer BF Goodrich Radial T/A RWL tires. With new shocks up front, she handles the road perfectly with it's competition suspension. Never harsh, but smooth & tight The interior is original, and looks incredible. This is a highly optioned Mach 1 with such rare options as tilt rim blow steering wheel, A/C which is Ice Cold, AM/FM 8 Track which works perfectly, light group, sport deck, original spare with original inflation canister, sports interior, and Console. The clock just stopped working, but it is easily repaired, At least it is correct twice a day! Mechanically, this car has a lot to offer. In 1973 the "Q" code was the most powerful engine offered in the Mustang. It is a 351 4bbl V8 Cobra Jet with 266 horsepower. It runs strong and looks like new. You could eat off this engine! The car has about 88,000 original miles, but looks showroom fresh. She starts everytime and really has that vintage muscle car sound.
