1971 GMC Sprint (same as el camino) very rare car, I was told it is an SP, but I have no way to confirm this. It has a tach dash and power disc brakes. The orig rear is gone, now has a 10 bolt. The engine is a decently built 350, with fuelie heads, edelbrock intake and carb, it has a decent cam in it and has a nice lope to it (needs louder mufflers in my opinion) the trans is a 700R4 4 speed Overdrive trans. the body needs to be restored to be perfect or leave it just the way it is and keep driving it! it will need both quarters and front fenders, doors are good. the bed overall is solid but does have some random rust through (bed mat hides it though). the tailgate and tailgate area is in great shape. the frame looks to be very nice, no scale or rot that i can see, mounts all look perfect. same with the floors, from what i can see there is no major rot, inner rockers look good, factory pinch welds look perfect. the hood is steel with a fiberglass scoop on it. all glass is good, new sending unit in gas tank, factory gauge works, factory tach works, radio works fine. the dash pad is nice, door panels are nice, i have the glove box door for it, it also has the original owners manual!.. i have a new headliner for it (not yet installed) the car has been daily driven the last year by the previous owner, it starts right up and you can drive it away, it passed state inspection fine. keep in mind that this is a PROJECT CAR that you can drive every day while you fix it up, great beater for chasing parts. the car is far from mint, but overall the important stuff is solid and you can get in and go, i think the engine is due for a basic tuneup (pugs,wires,etc) has a flexalite dual electric fan setup, the inner front fenders were removed at some point so the battery tray isnt supported well. has chrome rally wheels, mint front tires, rear are just starting to dry rot but still work fine...i have the trim rings, they are just not on in the pics. I just dont have time for this toy so i am passing it on to someone that does! full payment due within 3 days, should be picked up within a few weeks unless arranged otherwise. shipping it to be arranged by the buyer, in theory you could drive this across the country but that all depends how brave you are, i have only put about 50 miles on it and it hasn't missed a beat
