Nice and rare 1981 jeep CJ-8 scrambler Laredo. This is a project restoration jeep, but is in decent condition overall for being an east coast vehicle. A true barn find has been inside for a long time. Engine runs fine, and drivetrain operates as it should. Engine is the straight 6 -232, with 4 speed manual transmission. Power steering..Odometer reads around 60,000 miles. Body is nice original condition, never been repaired. Front floors need replacing due to a hole on either side under the seats. The rear bed and wheel wells, sides and cowl are great condition. Tailgate and spare carrier are good shape too. There is surface rust overall underneath but no major rust besides the front floors. The all important frame is amazingly not rusted thru in any spots in the rear axle area besides one drain hole that has slightly enlarged. Overall, with a good sandblasting will be a great base for your restoration. Seats are not bolted down, were removed for repair of the floors. Windshield is not original to the vehicle, but will work. I am including the black fiberglass half hardtop and metal full doors for the jeep Dont miss out on this great restoration candidiate....these Scramblers are very hard to find Clear ny title.
