It has a 302 engine and C4 automatic transmission. This Shelby restomod is a definite head turner and a cool vintage ride! Below are a description with photos. Please be know that this is not a real Shelby GT350 it is a tribute/restomod car. I just want to be clear that this is not being advertised as MCA concourse show car. It is a nice, clean, freshened up driver car. I would rate the new paint and bodywork about 7 out of 10. The motor is a late model 5.0 302 V8 out of a 1987 Ford Mustang. It runs good, has plenty of power and does not overheat. I do not know the mileage of the engine as I purchased the Mustang with the current engine and transmission already installed. The transmission is the original C4 three speed automatic. It shifts good through all three gears as well as reverse. Exhaust is dual 2 inch piping with dual factory style turbo mufflers. Exhaust tone is very mild. Front brakes were originally manual drum and have been converted to discs. The master cylinder was replaced as well and is manual style no power assist. The car stops nicely with the upgrade to discs. The rear end also was converted by previous owner to a late model 7.5" Ford differential. New shocks were installed in the rear. Underside, floor pans and trunk are all rust free. There is a patch panel installed on the drivers side front floor pan for rust removal. Undercarriage was given rubberized undercoating at same time as exterior paint. Electrical all seems to be in good working order. Gauges function and the interior/exterior lighting all work as well.
