NICE, Barn find 66' mustang coupe. 64,000 original miles. Matching number 6 cylinder runs good, auto transmission. 6R07T vin code. This California car has been in long term indoor storage, and is in very restorable condition....Look at the pics of the undercarriage. Surface rust is pretty much what you find underneath on the exhaust and driveshaft. The floor boards and unibody are very clean. I believe it is in original paint. Car is an excellent restoration candidate! OR use as is..... The body panels are very straight. There is a gash on the passenger door bottom. There is a dent on the hood edge, and on the driver door top edge. Good glass. All doors open and close perfectly. Trunk has the original plastic liner, but I removed it for the pictures. Couple tiny rust areas in the trunk. Original jack, spare, rubber mats, and owners manual in glovebox..Car has some new parts included, door panels, mirrors, exhaust pipe and muffler. Also original radio is included. Needs interior upholstery , minor bodywork, brake overhaul, re chroming of bumpers, and paint. You'll be hard pressed to find one in better original condition...especially on the east coast. Car still has its original California plates. Clear NY title. Please email questions, and Thanks. Sold as is, no warranties express or implied. I noticed the rear springs are new looking, and the spring mounts have no rust issues. I have looked over all the door jambs, rockers, inner fenders..etc, and have found no rust out in any areas. There is surface rust in some areas, but no holes or deep pitting. A collector was inspecting the car, and was very pleased with the originality, and lack of damage by crash or rustout.. Please also note that the wires hanging from the dash are for the aftermarket radio that was never connected. The Original radio is in the trunk, with other parts, and is in good shape. The antenna mounting nut and seal are also in the trunk. Appears to have an original Firestone spare wheel, in new condition. Also has the original mustang rubber floor mats. Other original items are: Trunk mat in decent shape, radio in excellent shape, jack, side mirrors, door panels, muffler. Just wanted to let everyone know that the car is just as pulled out of storage. I have not cleaned the interior or exterior. Has the original Ford keys. Checked the fluids, installed battery, and drove it around a bit.. A very nice, original candy apple red code car. Would make a great restoration candidiate! Low reserve, Needs to go to a good home as I dont have the time to restore it
