I got this bike from a guy clearing out the estate of a neighbor/collector who passed away. It only has 3060 miles on it. It runs strong and starts on the first kick. The engine is in great shape. It only has one carb, so I took it apart and it's clean as a whistle. The seat is in perfect condition. When I got the bike it was missing the air filter. I have a small K&N pod air filter I am including with the bike. The ignition switch has been removed from this bike. I am including an aftermarket ignition switch in the sale. In place of the ignition switch are two rocker switches. These turn off the lights and blinkers. You can start the bike without a key and without the rocker switches turned on. The kill switch on the bike works normally so you can shut the bike off. If you are running the bike off road and leave the lights off, your battery will charge more easily as there will be less draw from the lights on the charging system. Maybe that's why the previous owner installed the switches, or maybe the keys got lost? This bike has a brand new 6 volt battery. The gas tank is perfectly clean on the inside, like new. The outside of the tank has a crease on the left side and scratches on the top. The front fender has two dents in it. If I were to keep this bike, I would install the pod air filter, remove the front fender or just pop the dents out a bit from the back of it and ride it. The side covers on the bike are in perfect condition, no missing tabs. I will not work to setup shipping for this bike. You must pick up the bike in person from Sterling Heights, Michigan.
