1978 Chevrolet Rally Sport Camaro, numbers matching 350V8 and turbo 350 automatic 3 speed transmission. This car is mostly stock and will be described to the best of my ability trying to leave nothing out. The the speedometer shows 29852. This is a five digit odometer and I believe this to be 129,852. The car has clean and clear title. Doesn't ever appear to have had any major damage. The car appears to have come from the eastern part of South Dakota. I will list what I have done to the car first. These parts are all new and I have receipts totaling approximately $1000.00, to include brake rotors, pads, wheel cylinders, bearings, front shocks, and alignment. Engine components to include air filter, fresh coolant/antifreeze, carb kit, spark plugs, plug wires, distributer cap and rotor, belts, hoses, oil filter, thermostat & gasket, fuel pump, alternator, water pump. Transmission to include service, filter, fluid, pan gasket, linkage adjustment, U-joints, rear air shocks, fuel tank, fuel lines. Interior components, receipts approximately $750.00, to include JVC in dash stereo, front and rear sony explode speakers, 100watt sony booster in trunk all wiring and breakers. Gauge Pkg, custom mounted in dash, Windshield wiper switch, Speedometer cable, heater fan motor and heater core. Interior is all orginal it appears and in my opinion could use new dash (classic industries apprx $150.00), new carpeting, (ebay or classic apprx $150.00), new headliner, (ebay or classic apprx $150.00), passenger side arm rest (ebay or classic apprx. $75.00). front and rear are serviceable, rear interior side panels need to be redyed., and should have rear shelf replaced. Windshield has not major crack or chips, both side windows are good and hand crank nicely, and rear window is good. Exterior components, receipts appromately $500.00 new tires Hankook 215 75R 14's , windshield wiper blades, and I'm probably forgetting some things? The car has some rust, as shown in the pics. the worst being the rear support behind the gas tank. The floor pans are good, as well as the trunk pans. the quarters are good, excepting the rear patch panels right behind the tires, photos attached. The passenger side front of the wheel well should be replaced too. The front driver side fender, right behind the tire is rusted, replace with patch panel or new fender makes it easy, driver door hangs slightly creating rub in the sill plate, photo attached. This car has slight hail hard to see from 20 feet., would be alot easier to replace steel, than to PDR (paintless dentless, repair), I've tried to take photos of the hood, and also the top of the car is in primer, car needs paint but again looks good from 20 feet. Could not list all the photos, so if your interested I can send more photos upon request. If I wanted to take this car all the way in my opinion, I would replace all the steel to include hood, front right and left fenders, drivers and passengers door skins, rear fender patch panels and trunk lid all for less than $2000.00...and have a beautiful start to show quality car. The car runs and shifts good through all gears and reverse, for its originality. Upon start the car will smoke due to valve guides needing replaced. Is not a major oil or fluids leaker. No major concerns there. Car is true down the road at any speed and doesn't shake rattle or roll....brakes stop evenly. Stereo has plenty of power and sounds great! The exhaust appears be original and could use new or up grade, has slight exhaust leak, again nothing major. I've tried to include photos of all that I've mentioned above.
