1937 Buick Series 40 Special This is the very rare slantback model. The body and undercarriage are COMPLETELY RUST FREE. There is absolutely no body filler or patch panels anywhere on this car that we can find. It was re-sprayed its original black color about 20 years ago. The paint job is very high quality and still shows excellent with only minor blemishes from use. The chrome has been re-done this past year using triple plated show chrome. Inside you will find the original interior with new carpet and an original re-cast steering wheel. The seats and door panels are showing their age but is in excellent condition for originality. The radio is missing. Under the hood is the original 248.1 cubic inch straight 8. It has never been rebuilt and it runs perfect. It has been recently detailed. The odometer shows 70,131 which is believed to be the original mileage but due to the car's age cannot be verified. Recent work includes rebuilt carburetor, new brakes, new Coker white wall tires, and new water pump. This car runs and drives perfect. It is turn key and ready to enjoy. Everything works properly.
