Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 2011 Honda CR-Z in excellent condition. This car was purchased in a New Jersey auction after the New Jersey Flood caused by Hurricane Sandy. This car was flooded at the dealership and has never been owned privately. After having the car shipped here to Macon, GA we began work on it along with 2 other cars -- none of which were hybrids. We got the other 2 working after changing a few electrical parts such as ECM and fuse box -- and they have long been sold. We began work on this car last and changed just about everything on it but can't seem to work with our local dealers to get this car operational as far as getting the codes (flashed) reset, examined, or cleared. We had this car dropped off at our dealer and they asked for a $10k deposit before they would even touch the car. I'm assuming they responded as they did because they didn't want to take on the task of troubleshooting a flood damaged car. We have replaced the fuse box, the gasoline motor ECM, the electric motor ECM, the entire battery enclosure including all of the modules and components that are enclosed with the battery pack that's mounted in the rear of the car. We have changed all corroded fuses, the ignition assembly, we have hade the car rekeyed. All bad relays have been replaced, all wires that show damage have been replaced, all wiring harnesses showing corrosion have been meticulously cleaned by our technician -- but for some reason (which could be extremely simple) it will not communicate with the engine. What I mean by this, is that the car WILL turn on (shown in the photos) as far as the lights, the dash etc., but we cannot get the car to turn over or crank. We have recently lost our technician so we have decided to sell the car. Here is what we have as far as we know: The power locks work, the power windows do not, the vehicle lights blinker etc., do work, the dash lights work, the cd/radio works, the air conditioning buttons respond when you press them but the A/C fan does not blow, engine and transmission fluids look perfect and clean so as the same with the other 2 vehicles we did not have to change the fluids. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or troubleshooting requests that you'd like for us to do to better understand the issues with this car. We welcome people to come take a look at the car before buying, we are located in Macon, GA -- this vehicle is being sold privately, we are a government surplus business and don't fix or sell cars as a business -- this is simply a private task. There will be no additional fees other than the buy price. We have all the proper paperwork that goes along with this flood damaged vehicle. Please feel free to call Mon-Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm EST to ask questions 478-314-2222
