This car was originally purchased here in Cincinnati, OH at Thompson McConnell Cadillac by its original owner who owned the car until 2011 when he had to be placed in a retirement home and could no longer keep the vehicle. It has always been garage kept and rarely driven since its early years. It was still wearing the original or early 80's Firestone wide white wall tires with excellent tread, until one of them split wide open when I took the car out for a drive and decided it needed fresh period correct rubber to be a safe driver and now wear a set of all 4 new American Classic wide white walls (with the original Firestone spare in as new condition), has the original riveted brake pads, and original grooved brake rotors, all fully inspected and in excellent condition! The car also appears to be mostly original paint with the paint in spectacular condition with no real signs of its age. The car was recently purchased by another elderly gentleman from the original owner and treated to a full inspection and service including new rearmost exhaust system (still retains the original catalytic converter), new A/C system (still has the original Frigidaire compressor and works great), and full tune up. He just recently decided to trade the car to us on a Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster for his daughter. We have also checked the car over from top to bottom to make sure it is as excellent as it can be for its new owner. The car's big 500 cubic inch engine runs and drives like new and every item is in excellent working condition including the ice cold A/C and even the power antenna! The only non-original item I could see besides the expected maintenance items is a cruise control system likely added by the dealer when new (didn't try it for function). Everything about this car is spectacular from the excellent chrome trim, perfect vinyl top, wear free leather (yes, it's leather) interior, sparkling carpets, and even the very nice original floor mats. This car is truly a time-capsule example with just 21K original miles since new and no evidence of ever being left out or driven in bad weather.
