I bought this car as one of a collection of Porsches from a doctors estate in California.This was his primary car.I sold the rest of the Porscheszs` and admired this particular one so much(as did my mechanic) that I kept it as a driver for myself.One of my regular clients and friend also admired it as I did, with the blessings of a 35 year veteran of the Porsche technical trade we did a trade,Jaguar XKE for Porsche 928.My client used the car for his travels in his territory for his job,one of his trips was interrupted when a pin for one of the timing chain sprockets gave out on a new timing belt.The car was shipped off to DC Automotive(google them)in Rocky Mount North Carolina.They installed a used 5.0 liter engine for a $6000 invesment.They did an absolutely outstanding job assuring that every component on the car was factory fresh and new.They went from stem to stern on this car from rubber mounts to door hinges,the car reflects this care in both the cosmetics and mechanics.The car always lived in Southern California,the undercarriage shows that of a Southern California car,it has never suffered from an accident and still sports its original paint.The car has never been smoked in,all leather is in outstanding condition as is carpets,headliner,door panels,and dash.All electronic components work as designed,tires are good.Do not fall into the low mileage trap on one of these undervalued Porsche supercars,seek out the well serviced!!!
