Vehicle Detail
1993 MUSTANG COBRA First of all I can’t take any credit in building this car. It has been modified and well taken care of by its previous owners who took pride in their work. That being said, here is what I know as follows. The car holds a salvage/ rebuilt title due to theft recovery on 5/19/2002. In 1/28/2005 a new owner is reported and a rebuilt title issued by the DMV. I have Carfax documentation to support this. The vehicle now has the seats from a 2004 cobra. The driver seat is a power seat and fully adjustable. It also has a newer carpet kit which needs to be addressed in a few places (mainly where the stereo and power wires were ran) The battery has also been relocated to the trunk. Motor: The previous owner told me there were two motors built for the vehicle, one was supercharged, the other a N/A 347 stroker with 10:5:1 compression motor, which is currently in the car. It has Edelbrock Performer Heads, and a custom cam that I don’t have any specs on. Also has a tfs 1.7 roller rockers, tfs push rods, holley intake with, 1 3/8"heat spacer, 70 mm throttle body, 90 mm mass air flow sensor, 42lbs injectors, Ford racing valve covers, BBK Heads, Mac Pro mufflers, T-Rex external fuel pump and an electric fan. The car also has a 5 speed T5 with 373 gears.**The ECU will need to be adjusted by a tune shop with a dyno to get the air/fuel mixture aligned for optimal power. See Photobucket for the Dynotuning report (332 hp and 348# of torque to the rear wheels). Also the starter needs to be shimmmed(see video)** Suspension: The car sits on KYB shocks and struts, Ford C-Springs with a coil cut, and UPR cc plates. Stock disk cobra brakes on all 4 corners, Cobra booster and master cylinder. Exterior: The car is painted Teal, and has a stock cobra body with a 3inch cowl hood. All body parts are original, a side from the rear bumper, which is Cervini. The paint is very nice for a 20 year old car but is in no way show car quality. The car has been driven, so the front end does show signs of wear with small rock chips. Nothing too serious, but the car is, again, not a show car…BUT…the paint does look great. Cosmetic Issues: Minor scratches in the paint around the car, mostly wear and tear. The glove box was covered with suede fabric and which was then removed and left glue damage to exterior of the glove box. The hood is aftermarket and had a minor indentation of the hood next to the cowl and it is slightly misaligned to the right. See Photobucket pics. It won’t pass California’s strict smog qualifications, but will pass in most other states. If a California smog certificate is needed, it can be done for an additional fee (contact for more information).**The title is "rebuilt" by the standards of most states, California doesn't recognize the difference between a salvaged and rebuilt title so the pink slip says "salvaged." Carfax reports can be found in Photobucket at end of the top(see below)Video of engine on startup on the bottom video. This car has been in past forum threads of previous owners:http://www.californiafords.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=086608 http://californiafords.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=025846 PAYMENT: deposit through Paypal is due within 24 hours and full payment due within 4 days.
