I have a 1990 4Runner 4x4. Recent engine work done includes, heads rebuilt, new head gaskets, water pump and timing belt. Also replaced were the upper and lower radiator hoses and heater hoses. The cat. converter was also replaced.. I have receipts for the work done. The engine works great. BUT, now the automatic transmission is not working properly. It is not slipping. It works in reverse and 1st gear but will not shift until high RPM. I have two 4Runners so this one is going up for sale.
