Please read carefully. I've sold this vehicle 2 times already by people using buy it now. Both times the buyers did not come through. Please contact me first before you buy it with any questions. This 1972 Monte Carlo has been built to clone a 1971 SS. Does anyone know if there's a frame number and where to find it that would tell me anything important. The engine is a fresh professionally built period correct 1971 454 LS5. There's a laundry list of upgrades to the engine that I can answer if interested. The engine sounds great going through a magnaflow exhaust system and runs excellent with a Holley ultra street avenger carburetor. The transmission is a bullet proof turbo 400. The engine and transmission are number matching to each other but not to the vin. Mechanically the Monte Carlo is sound. The fuel gauge stopped working the other day, I'm not sure what it is yet. The A/C system has encountered an electrical issue. The tires are BFGoodrich. The interior is OK but needs seat work, no front seat belts but has rear seat belts. Updated digital radio with mp3 plug in with 4 speakers.New dash, new cluster printed circuit etc. The bad is the frame has rust in a few common areas. I will try and add these pictures. The paint is good but is old single stage paint but still looks nice. I'm sure I've left something out so feel free to ask anytime.
