This Goldwing has been meticulously maintained and very lightly used since I’ve owned it. It is as close to a new,1998 Goldwing as you will find with only 16,700 miles. I am the second owner. The first owner had to give up riding due to back surgery. I had planned to do a great deal of cruising with my wife but my retirement plans have changed. This is a nearly new bike, with everything operating as new, no leaks, smoke, always garaged and babied. This package also comes with the $3500.00 quick release Tow-Pac 10” chrome wheel package, towing hitch/ball, and a nice motorcycle trailer (restored from the 1970’s with chrome wheels and new tires). This cruising package would be ideal for long range cruising and camping. If you are not familiar with the SE (special edition), it has everything: -AM/FM/Cassette,-Cruise Control-Vented, adjustable windshield-Reverse-CB-Stock seat (BTW: my wife loves the comfort of the passenger seat)-Front and Passenger Speakers-Air Suspension and air compressor for tires-Passenger Floorboards-Air deflectors-Front Left Snap Pocket and Right Locking Pocket-Tool Kit-Owner’s Manual-The color is a pearl which looks silver-At approximately 5,000 miles, the front and rear tires were replaced and the exhaust manifold was replaced due to some rust.-A brand new maintenance free battery was installed last week, and I just changed the plugs and oilThe successful bidder will also receive: -Spare parts, air and fuel filter-DVD service procedures and shop manual-Mini cover-Full cover-XM radio antenna mount and antenna (not including the radio)-Cup holder mount with flexible cup holder-Emergency Portable (safe) Fuel container-Is wired for and will include an external trickle charger I refurbished the motorcycle trailer several years ago. I was never able to determine the brand but I repainted it, added chrome wheels, new tires, and teak luggage rack and support bars. It is very easy to tow, holds a great deal. It probably needs to be rewired but other than that it a very nice trailer. I’ve gone over the bike again and for the sake of full disclosure, the only minor issue I could find is the one of the passenger storage plastic pockets lost an internal nib and it doesn’t open as easily as it once did, but it is still workable. Overall the bike is remarkable for 1998.
