1998 Chevy Metro Geo with 24,245 original miles. Interior in great shape. Body relatively solid. Some very light rust above the driver and rear passenger wheel wells. Radio and air conditioner work great. All electrical and gauges intact. Absolutely no problems except what is listed below. Tires in decent shape. Engine solid, motor 1.3 cylinder. Trailor hitch is not included and will be removed. HISTORY I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. The original owner was an elderly woman. She sold the vehicle to a gentleman in 2010 who drove the car back and forth to work for about 1 year and eventually lost his job. He sold it to me in March 2011. I have all original receipts reflecting maintenance. When I purchased the vehicle in 2011 it had 19,500 original miles. FRAME Anyone interested in Metro Geo's is probably aware that they are well known for rust to the frame area just below the lower control arms. I knew this when I purchased the vehicle. It was my intent to repair the frame with my friend who was a mechanic who has since passed away. I am no mechanic and it would be too costly for me to have it repaired proffessionally. INTERIOR The interior is very clean with no rips, stains, or burns to the seats. This is a real gas saver getting 36 MPG in the city and 44 highway. PARTS/RESTORATION To restore the frame it would take someone familiar with this issue. As I said, it is a common problem with these cars. Another option would be to use the car completely for parts. Although the car runs, I would not recommend driving this vehicle without repairing the frame. It has not been driven for almost 1 year now and has been kept in storage. It starts the first time, everytime. The brake on the passanger side seems stuck and will need some attention. Great deal for Metro lovers and Metro restorers. SHIPPING Vehicle sold "AS IS".
