1965 Honda CA160 Touring. The folks in the know often called these the Baby Dreams, as they were not truly the "Dream"............The CA160 touring followed the now typical twin cylinder single overhead cam configuration when launched in 1964 as the touring version of the CB96 or CB160 as it was known to most. The frame and styling mirrored the C72/C77 range with a pressed steel chassis, tyres with a thin white wall side.Colors were black, red, blue/grey and white. This model was aimed solely at the North American market, where Honda were becoming very adept at introducing new hitherto non motorcycling customer’s to the joy’s of two wheeled transport. The single carburetor engine complete with electric start and enclosed chain all helped to keep that clean image so loved by those nice people you meet on Honda’s! This bike runs smoothly. There isn't anything I can think of that doesn't work, except maybe the brake light, however the tail light does come one when the key is in the light position. Haven't taken alot of time to figure it all out. I've put approximately 50 miles on this bike. When cold the clutch slips some, however works properly with warm up.. The tires have been replaced sometime in its life. I also have the original clear and red windshield and hardware to go with the bike. The badges on this bike are not original.
