This classic 1961 Pontiac Bonneville is the second one of two which the estate has deemed for sale. Please note that as an estate auction, this auction will run through to completion the full 10 days. Offers will not be considered, it will go to the highest bidder when the auction ends Friday, May 10th at 12:00 P.M. CST (10:00 A.M. PDT, 1:00 P.M. EST). The Bonneville was Pontiac's costliest and most luxurious model in the 1960s, and every bit of that luxury remains in tact with this 1961 Convertible. Featuring a 389 cubic inch 6.4L V8 engine and equipped standard with a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and power convertible top, you absolutely own the road when you're behind the wheel of this beauty. As you can see in the pictures, it has been undercoated, and there are spots of rust and Bondo body filler in the wheel wells. There is also a small dent in the rear bumper. The convertible top boot may need a couple new snaps to keep it in place. Absolutely all imperfections have been photographed for full disclosure to the buyer. Buyers are encouraged to thoroughly inspect ALL the pictures included in order to make their decision. Now, on to the features for this classic 1961 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible... The previous owner was quite the character, and enjoyed driving this in several parades each year, and as such he has outfitted it with an air horn, steering wheel knob, and CB Radio. Other than that, this baby is all original all the way in the interior with beautiful two-tone burgundy leather upholstery, original floor mats (as pictured, there is a complete tear in the mat on the driver's side), AM/FM radio and a heater. The 43,809 miles are presumed to be original, but no claims or guarantees can be made about that, as this is an estate sale and the car must be sold as-is. What you see is what you get here, a beautiful luxury car almost completely original. This vehicle does not appear to ever have been smoked in or had pets in the cabin, so there are no concerns for buyers with smoke or pet allergies! THIS VEHICLE STARTS AND RUNS AND THE TRANSMISSION ENGAGES, BUT BUYERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO EXPECT TO HAVE TO GET IT HOME ON A TRAILER OR HAULER.
