Up for auction is a 1995 Chevrolet Astro Van. It is the CS model. It has 097,699 on the odometer. If you've had one of these vans, you know many of them go for 300,000 miles or more. It has the 4.3 V-6, Automatic, Front and Rear A/C (blows cold). Manual Windows (No power window motors to buy) and Door Locks. The van runs and drives good. Doesn't smoke. I bought it from a large school district here in the Phoenix / Mesa area. It passed emissions last month and has current Arizona plates. I have all the service records on the van. The tires are almost new(that saves you $500-$600). The van leaks nothing, and runs really quiet. The body has no dents. It has dings and chips like any 18 year old van. The bumpers are in nice shape. These vans are known to have paint issues, and the school district has repainted where needed. There is still residue on the driver and passenger doors that will come off fairly easily with a product called "Goof Off." The interior is in nice shape for its age. The two rear removable bench seats are in good shape. Here in Arizona the hot sun damages the cloth seats if you don't protect them somehow. The front seats have seat covers on them. One of the photos shows what the front seats look like under the seat covers.. Dash is cracked from the sun. Headliner is nice. Carpet is in good shape. The only wear spot is shown in one of the pictures - pass. side front. Van has no odors. All the glass is good including the windshield. Stock radio works. Van ran on CNG originally, converted to gasoline years ago. None of the door latches are broken. All the doors open and close easily and lock and unlock with a key as they should.
