Yes it really is 11,985 Original Mile truck. Here is the story on this truck as to why it is such low miles. The truck was bought brand new at General GMC in Phoenix Arizona in September of 1986.After driving it through the cooler months of winter in Tucson Az coming into the summer hotter season the owner decided to add a seperate engine oil coolerfor the 100 degree days ahead. He bought a kit and added the cooler one night after work and the next morning his girl friend drove the truck to work. Evidently he had left a clamp lose and a hose blew of causing all the oil to blow out on the ground. Not aware of any problem his girl friend drove to the motor blew a rod out the side of the motor.Warranty was voided do to the added oil cooler and not having the money for a new motor they parked the truck in the car port and started to save for one.Here is where it went bad, a few months later his girl friend got killed in a car wreck. Had she been driving the truck insted of the small compact car she would have survived the accident. Now blamming himself for the death of his girl friend the truck sat in the back yard for 25 years. We just installed a GM target motor with 8,271 miles from another wrecked truck and now are offering the truck for bid. The Good: Original paint,shines nice, hood and roof thin from the sun.Original interior in great shape, clean as new, except seat (covered since new) dry and material splittingEvery option, everything works like new.8600 GVWDrives down the road like a brand new truck, not a squeak or a rattle.Inside bed is perfect with the exception of rub marks from a bed liner that I removed.Chrome Bumpers front and rear like new.Carpets are nice and has original GM floor matsOriginal one owner clean titleOriginal license plate still on that expired in Aug or 1987In the dry Arizona climate since new.Absolutly no rust everAbsolutly no paint work everCleanest truck you'll ever find The Bad: Hood and roof paint is sun beat, thin and dullSeat cloth is dried out and splits apart just touching it.
