Buick Electra 225 with the 430 Big Block. Car runs and drives good and should pass inspection-Lights,signals,brakes,wipers,horn all work. This was a daily driver until recently when the guy I bought it from needed a family Mini Van. Does burn a little oil and leaks power steering fluid-these could be easy fixes but I really dont have the time to mess with it. The car runs and drives great sounds good and has dual exhaust. Transmission is nice and smooth and operates like new. Power windows all work except for the passenger side not sure if its a bad switch a bad wire or what-I honestly have not even tried to find the problem but again im sure its an easy fix. This Classic has Brand New tires all the way around-Thats several hundred dollars right there! The body has rust in the usual places that you would expect from a car that is 50 years old-Big dent on drivers side fender,small dent on pass. side fender other than that the car is Straight. Interior is awesome condition for its age with the only real wear on the drivers side seat. This car is loaded with factory options like A/C,tilt steering, power antenna,power trunk, power windows,pushbutton AM/FM. This car even has the original Warranty book, original brochures and the original Protecto Plate! Back on 4/16/1968 the original owner paid $6,783.69 I have a clear MO title in my name and would like to find this Classic a good home. A great project for messing around with or drive it just as it is personally I like the rustic look that it has to it and as they say its only original once. Look around and see how many running and driving General Motors 2 door hardtop cars from the 60's can be bought for this price-I feel this is a bargain price for the car and should make for a quick and easy sale. Thanks A guy asked me a few questions about the car and I forgot to post my reply back so I coped and pasted it to put here in case it helps answer anymore questions you may have.: Odometer reads 50,297 and that could be original miles for all I know. The doors open and close like a Brand new car. Chrome and trim appear to be very nice driver condition plus it all apears to be there. 430 runs good and strong but could probably use a basic tune up plugs,wires cap and rotor. It doesnt smoke so im not sure its burning much oil but I can see it definately needs a set of valve cover gaskets. Frame is solid and overall the car is pretty deng solid. This car has lived in Missouri its whole life so there are the usual spots of cancer like floor pans etc. The old owner just cut some sheetmetal and laid down under the carpet for an easy temporary fix. This car is 45 years old and honestly I cant believe somebody hasnt just hit the Buy It Now on it-for the money I cant think of a better deal out there on a running driving Classic.
