Vehicle Detail
Chevy Coupe Street Rod 350CI/400HP w/Sprint Chassis ITEM DESCRIPTION: Used, good running condition. This car is a blast to drive!! I bought this Chevy Sprint car at a local bankruptcy/consignment auction. It was sold to me as an untitled off-road vehicle. However, since purchasing it, I have contacted the person that built the car and found that it does have a Florida Title, which I now have possession of, so I will be able to provide the title with this vehicle. For some reason it is titled as an Antique 1972 Chevy 2-Door (though it was built in 2006 - 2007). Here is the information I got from the builder, who was involved in Spring Car racing for over 30 years. The frame of this car is from an older style Spring Car that had been raced and then retired. The motor, transmission, rear-end and all other parts were purchased new from 2006 through 2007 during the time he was building it. The car has been built as a street rod and cannot be raced in an official Sprint Car race they way it is as it would not meet current Sprint Car specifications (ie: the engine was moved forward to make room for an automatic transmission and it has been otherwise altered so that it could be titled and registered as "street legal".) PLEASE NOTE: Even though this car does have Title and can be registered, I make no claim about it being street legal the way it is. The previous owner told me that he use to drive it on the street in Florida and would get pulled over a lot but would not be issued a ticket as it is a titled and registered vehicle and there was nothing they could issue a ticket on. According to the builder (and receipts) he spent well over $24,000 building this car. Here is a description of some of the main parts as taken off the invoices: Motor - Part Number CT350PC1 - Year One 400HP/350CI CHEV, from Year One in Barselton, Georgia. Transmission - Shorty Power Glide Alum Pan Outlaw P/G FWD & REV Rear End from Five Star Eagles Nest Racing Parts - Quick Change Rear Mickey Thompson rear tires Chassis - Gamblers Competition Center I am selling this vehicle as it is. I strongly advise that you inspect it or ask any questions you need to ask prior to bidding!! $500 Paypal Deposit due within 24 hours of winning bid. Balance due in cash, Money Order or Bank Transfer within 10 days. Must be fully paid prior to pickup. This car is offered for LOCAL PICKUP. I will not arrange shipping. However, if buyer wants to make their own shipping arrangements and have the car picked up by their shipper, that is fine and I will cooperate with shipping company and help load.
