1997 crown vic ex-police car. this is the p72 model, not a pursuit vehicle, but has must of the same heavy-duty extras the police interceptor has. this was at one time a detective's car. it had the red light above the rear-view mirror, also the siren and lights have been removed. switches and wiring still intactback doors have the police locking mech. you cannot open the back doors from inside the back seat. when locked, must be unlocked by driver ( great for transporting your mother in-law). This car was never used for high-speed pursuits or patrol, so it is in very good shape for its age.Dent on roof above windshield, other minor dents and scratches, which is common for a car of this age. Paint in decent condition. Tires like new, only a year old. Battery purchased recently. Also brakes redone recently. Also low mileage for a car of this type. the taxies use the p72 crown vic, and they are mandated to retire them at 500,000 miles. they will go that long! I have had this car for over a year and it is my daily driver so mileage will vary. This car has the white carpool lane sticker and you can drive in the HOV lane alone. Also CNG cars with the white sticker park for free in Santa Monica and other cities. check your local laws. 4 cng tanks. I drive from Santa Monica to palm springs on ¾ tank of gas. that’s about $12.00 of cng @ 2.00 GGE Gas will be $5.00 this summer. I am only selling this car because I am buying a newer crown vic CNG car. I purchased this car as an experiment and have been very happy with it and now time to move up!
