Vehicle Detail

This is my personal SUV and I purchased it new from the dealer. It has been very reliable and unfortunately was side-swiped by an 18-wheeler low-boy trailer. The damage is to the front driver's side fender area and rear quarter panel area. Until then, I drove the vehicle on a regular basis. The SUV is sold as-is. I have listed all the damage below that I am aware of, but it was not examined underneath and there could be damaged or worn out parts that I am not aware of. As a result, this sale is as-is. Please bid accordingly. The driver's side tie-rod is bent and the wheels/tires on the driver's side were damaged in the accident. As you can see in the pictures, there was damage to the front (including fender, bumper, grill, fog light and headlight) and rear bumper. There is no visible damage to the lift gate, but it cannot be opened due to the damage to the rear bumper. The ABS light came on after the accident. Underneath the bug deflector is damage that was caused previously when a pickup backed into it in a parking lot. The engine and transmission have had a minor amount of work done since purchase. At ~60,000 miles, the transmission needed to be adjusted. At ~175,000, the transmission was not engaging and I added a liquid transmission treatment product. It has worked okay since. No work has been done on the engine except replacing the air intake control sensor and the intake gaskets. The oil has been changed as required by the on-board computer. At ~100,000 miles, the engine started to make a sound when started and sometimes idling. The dealer said it was the tensioner on the timing chain, but said he never needed to replace one before. It doesn't make the sound all the time at startup or idling, but I want you to know about it. I made a video of the engine while running. It is available at the following link: http://youtu.be/n6p4p2zKqKM The ball joints, tie-rod ends, rotors, shocks and windshield are in need of replacement. The battery is at the end of its life. To the best of my knowledge, all the electronics and power seats are working okay. The leather seats have normal wear for a vehicle with this mileage, but there are no rips or tears. There is a small tear in the headliner. The vehicle has a clear Maryland title including official Maryland Lien Release signed by the bank. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS. Car is not licensed or insured and is not available for test driving. Buyer is responsible for picking the vehicle up in West River, MD. Continue to scroll down to see the pictures.
