1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible V8 NO RESERVE VIDEO & ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST! This is a Ca. Blue Plate Car (That alone increases the value). This car has been in Ca. all of its life. Rust free. It has receipts for the rebuild of the transmission and motor that are recent. There are over $3000 just in receipts for the professional work done on the motor and transmission. It is a second owner car... This car was originally purchased by the owner as a project car and never really got to it. If you would like to purchase this car and have us complete the work, we can do that as well. The car needs upholstery as you can see from the pictures. It does run and I drove it from the owners house. Has power steering, power top. The controls on the windows are spotty but do work. Please note the items the owner provided: It has a rebuilt 351 V8 Motor--recently rebuilt, transmission was rebuilt approx 2 years ago. Steering box was recently replaced, brakes redone a few years ago but the car was rarely driven. Has current Ca. reg. Clean Ca. title-No Salvage! New tires and Cragar rims. Also has the newer factory look stereo. Top needs a new window and has a couple of small tears. Top operates down and needs some help coming up.
