FOR SALE: 2000 Chevrolet Astro Van AWD 158,000+ miles (90% Highway mileage) owned it since 2007 to use it for family vacation, now my kids are growing up and no longer needed. Buying smaller new car. Included class III/IV hitch with 4 prong trailer lite hook-up (I used it for free standing utility trailer and Thule Bike Rack) V-6 Vortec engine Dual CD stereo (the rear CD stereo requires Head set to listen to music) Key-operated auto start remote (13 or 26 minutes auto shut-off) include center console cooler 2 cup holder for warm/cold setting plus 6-pack holder with lid (removable tray for washing) it fits 7-8 people.....rear bench seat can be into a bed. (4 captain chairs) die hard gold edition battery (less than 2 years old) new Distributor and fuel pump installed January 2010 New alternator installed October 2011 brakes recently done December 2011 periodically change oil every 3k miles Original manual This van is a NON-SMOKING ENVIRONMENT condition Monroe Rear AIR-SHOCK (recommended if using trailer or full passenger capacity) Windshield replaced November 2011(around that time) Some skirt damage around wheel well (custom built flare fender) and front scoop damage. This can be fixed by any local body shop. WHAT not working: VCR and TV, (honestly I never used it, it may works with some electronic knowledge background) passenger door lock, power is disabled, you have to manual push down door lock/use key to open (will need new actuator) rear glass door requires new bushing (small plastic piece to keep hook into latch), otherwise it is currently working (housing is removed in case if dislocated) It is very nice clean-wise van and as long you give it a TLC every now and then, you will have a nice van. Both front seats have minor wear and tear. There is no rust or oil leak…..clean undercarriage (see pictures) The EBay' Auto check feature, I do not understand the Lien and Inspection report... I assure you that I'm holding a cleared Title (no lien whatsoever) and as for the inspection, regarding emission. I get this done every year and recently passed August 2012. I'm currently driving this van to work/home until it is sold, although this van is also for sale elsewhere... the seller has every right to terminate this auction at any time should it be sold outside of eBay. On Nov-27-12 at 20:32:41 PST, seller added the following information: to add a few things not mention as per some interested buyers repeatedly ask::: the van run great, had no problem, no noise, it drives as it should. the transmission is in good condition, no noise....the liquid is red as it should be. there is no oily residue anywhere in this van, the undercarriage is clean as a whistle. NO LEAKS except air conditioner's water! AWD which it is a standard option. the van has a full-time 4 wheel drive, handle exceptional well in all conditions including rain and snow. I assure you that once I tried to make a donut in a parking with little snow. EPIC FAILED..This van cannot do it like you could with any rear-wheel drive vehicles. it drives where you suppose to go, therefore the road handling is awesome. although with this option make the van heavier and use more gas than any Astro Van with rear wheel drive. the thread of all tires are visible, the van pass inspection as of August 2012, I got new set of tires installed in 2007, it is nearly 6 years with approx. 45,000 miles, it would be a good investment to purchase new set for Summer 2013. The tire on the van is Michelin which rated to last 60,000 miles as per the manufacturer. Very rarely i go to any city with this Van, it is mostly driven on highway going Upstate New York, Pennsyvlania, New Jersey, Viriginia Beach. I hate to sell it, but honestly it does not benefit me to keep it since my kids are all grown up, im planning to get a new smaller car for me to use to go to work and solo vacation. i have kept this van in good condition as I have with my 1987 Mazda pickup Truck with over 275,000 miles.
