1992 chevy pick up truck. I purchased truck back in may 2011. previous owner said he had it for about 7 years, only put on about 3000 miles. NOTE: vehicle sat alot ! work done and parts include: passenger side exhaust manifold gasket and donut, (midas). plugs, distributor unit, cap, wires, gas tank, every hose to throttle body, fuel pump, and sending unit. (mechanic at work). since that time now on 3rd fuel pump and I still have a hole in the bed of the truck to access fuel pump. my son did the 2nd and 3rd fuel pump, and on the third one and he also did a new ground wire to frame and a fuel pump relay. truck has had a miss after the passenger exhaust manifold done. truck uses alot of oil. the first plug on passenger side was wet with oil. about two monthes ago. NOTE: 9/15/2012 I have checked plug still very wet and spark area filled with oil, put in plug I had took out last time, that I cleaned up, also no oil on dipstick, put two qts in and went about a mile and it ran smooth. once I top off oil or maybe once oil gets hot- it will most likely run rought again. a friend did a compression test, said it was 150., he said it may be the intake manifold gasket. I have asked other mechanics, one said rings, other said valve guide seals. another issue is the washer and wipers, washers did not work till I removed pump and bench tested it, and even now only works once in awhile. wipers work once in awhile, and the speed of wipers only work properly sometimes. interior lights were not on when I purchased truck, I installed bulbs and all three worked, but did not always go off when I shut door, so I took them out. some bubbled up rust over fender wells. driverside cab quarter rusted gone. driverside front tire worn on inside, metal showing throught. passenger front tire worn on inside and has a nail in tire. rear bumper has alot of rust and holes. rust and some holes on bed near tailgate. oil on intake manifold just by the throtte cable for throttle body. please check out vehicle and or even bring your mechanic, before bidding. UPDATE: I was able to take a few more pictures before it rained. my son installed a new panel and sony explode cdplayer, still factory speakers. I installed a factory cup holder. AC IS NOT COLD ! NEED ???. mileage 155K. 5.7, 350 ci. motor. UPDATE 8/6/2012: antifreeze is brown now, flushed radiator and overflow, then filled radiator and topped off once or twice, then it bubbled up some, I had asked a mechanic at work, he said it might be the head gasket. truck does still run good, temp does not really even get hot, but I am only driving it 12 miles to work each way. ~~+~~ CROSSOVER TOOLBOX NOT INCLUDED. ~~+~~ item is pre-owned, but not pre-certified, no warranty expressed or implied. selling "AS IS"- truck needs alot of work, good for parts or a repair project. truck does run !!!
