volksport Store MECHANIC OR PART OUT SPECIAL FOR SALE 2001 BMW 745IL - LOADED - NEEDS ENGINE OR HEADS/CHAINS AND GUIDES This BMW Came into our shop with a noisy valve and/or lifter and we gave the owner a quote on rebuilding the heads and doing the timing chains and guides. He decided to take it to another mechanic and they started on the work. They were not capable of doing the job so the car came back to out shop. We informed the customer that we could do the work but it would be an additional charge since the work was already started. They requested that we list the car for sale instead and it is being sold as is and just as the pictures show. So basically your options are the following. 1. Rebuild the heads and do the chains and guides2. Replace the Motor with a used or rebuild motor3. Part it out and make $ Basically the car was running and everything operational before the other shop started on the work.
