Vehicle Detail

1973 Mustang Mach 1 I hate to do it but I have put myself into a very serious financial situation and need to sell this car, along with a few others. Here I have a 1973 Mustang Mach 1 with original drivetrain and paint. The car has less than 60,000 miles on it. It is almost 100% original. I purchased the car about 8 years ago. It had a seized 351 Cleveland with a 4 barral carburetor. I had the engine rebuilt by a renowned engine builder. It was bored .60 over, the heads were replaced with 1971 4V or closed chambered heads with roller rockers. All of the internals are of top grade and the engine was dynoed at 385 HP and 420 lbs of torque before it was reinstalled. ( I have the original heads, intake manifold and oil pan and go with the car) I also added and original ram air set-up to the car. The original C6 transmission was rebuilt with and OEM 3000 stall speed converter. The drivetrain is original to the car, with matching numbers stamped into the block and transmission. I have pictures. The paint is original and has scratches and blemishes. The interior is original and in excellent condition with no rips in the upholstery, only some cracks in the door panels in front of the door release handles. The undercarriage was restored and new brakes, steering, suspension, and exhaust were added. The car was built with 351CID 4V 8 cylinder engine, select-shift cruise-o-matic transmission, Traction-Lok differential, power steering, sport deck rear seat with a space saver tire, floor console, power front disc brakes, deluxe bumper group, AM/FM stereo radio, Mach 1 sports interior, tinted glass-complete, heavy duty battery, aluminum wheels. It has the tachometer and gauges package. It has Ivy Glow metallic paint and a black interior. I have the original window sticker and sales receipt/car invoice. The car was built very nicely. It was in a dry garage when I found the car and purchased it. It has been garaged since I’ve had the car. Everything works in the car except the speedometer. It never worked since I reinstalled the engine, about 1500 miles ago. I drive the car on occasion but I also have three other Mustangs that I also drive, so each one doesn’t get many miles put on the car. It has a current registration and inspection, and is 100% legal, with a transferable title in my name. The car is shown with two different sets of wheels. The wheels that are included with the sale are the original deluxe aluminum wheels. The tires need replacing. The other set of wheels are 1978 police interceptor wheels; 15x 7”, with BFG radial T/A’s on them. The fronts are 235/60 15 and the rears are 255/60/15. These wheels/tires are for sale to the buyer of the car at a price that can be agreed upon. I have put myself into a very serious financial situation and need to sell this car, along with a few others. I am also selling a 1966 Mustang coupe, owned by a Boston Ford executive in the day, loaded to the max. Add to that a 1967 GTA Mustang Convertible project car. Also up for sale is a 1971 Mustang Sport Coupe, made for three months in the spring of 1971, with original paint and interior, in beautiful, rustfree condition. The car is available for viewing at any arranged time. For more details or questions on this or any of the other cars, email me at CoramCorral@aol.com or call me at 631-833-0305. Bob Franz On Jul-24-12 at 17:27:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I've lowered the reserve price and removed the ram air set-up. It will be available for sale separately to the high bidder or anyone else in need of an original set-up. I did not mention that the original grille was replaced with an NOS grille and moldings. The 1967 GTA convertible has been sold. The hood is original and not a reproduction. I didn't like the factory Mach 1 stripes, and when the rear 1/4 panel drop off panels were replaced, I had the hood painted semi-flat black, along with the bottom of the car. This car needs a paint job to be real nice. The rest of the car is in real nice condition. The engine has a 8 quart deep sump oil pan. Also, Hooker Competition Plus headers that are ceramic coated. X pipe 2" exhaust with factory tips. Flowmaster stage III mufflers. 3.25 posi rear.On Jul-29-12 at 08:39:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I lowered the reserve price to $8500. I NEED the room. I replaced the steering wheel with a deluxe rim blow steering wheel.
