Up for bid is a Desirable Mopar Chrysler Classic Collector Restoration Project car with a clear PA title...A 1968 A-Body Dodge Dart GT 2 door hardtop...LP23D8BXXXXXX...This is a TRUE GT, not a clone or tribute!!...It came from the factory with a 273 V8 2bbl, 904 automatic transmission, 10 inch drum brakes, and a 7 1/4 rear...It now has a 1971 318 2bbl, and the trans & rear are believed to be original to the car...Documented with factory dash VIN tag, core support body sequence number stamping that matches the fender tag (as all 68s did), and a clear Pa title in my name...The original color of green can be seen on the under side of the trunk lid and other areas...Original options seen include: Air conditioning, Power steering, Bucket seats, Console, and Tinted windows...This car has a very solid straight unhit structure, including front & rear frame rails, inner fenders, upper control arm brackets, torsion bar crossmember, rear frame rails, rear floor pans, under the rear seat pans, and trunk pan...The trunk lid and doors are in very good used condition...The hood is not rusty underneath, but has a bend on the front edge and right side, along with 8 very small drill holes in the center from where a scoop was previously attached...The driver side front floor pan has a small hole and the right side has some rust holes that were covered previously with what appears to be underlayment material...The left side quarter trunk extension could be repaired, but the right side should be replaced...Good grille and rear body panel...The roof area does have a lot of bubbling under the vinyl top...The fenders do have some small rust holes with putty on the doglegs and a dent on the driver's side above the wheel...Both quarter panels have putty in front & behind the rear wheels, and the edge of the quarter where it meets the trunk extension inside the trunk has some spray foam that was put on by a previous owner...Has a good dual exhaust system, rear air shocks, newer front shocks, Kenwood disc`player (working condition unknown, as there are no speakers hooked up)...The a/c system appears to be complete, and the clutch turns, but kicks off...New water pump, fuel pump, and the oil and filter has been changed...Nice correct white door and rear interior panels...The front seat belts are intact, but the back ones are missing...Nice 67 black front bucket seats and rear seat...Very nice upper dash pad and instrument cluster...Lights, turn signals, wipers, 4-ways, back up lights function, and brakes work, including the emergency brake...The emblems, side lamps, and some of the trim on the interior and exterior, including the sun visors and kick panels, were removed by a previous owner, and are not available...The front and rear bumpers are good straight cores...Tires are old and need replaced...Original numbered radiator is intact...The right side trunk bracket needs the tab repaired where the trunk spring connects... This car has functioning keys and locks, and does lot run, drive, and stop...It is not currently inspected, so will need towed, not driven on the highway before all systems and components are checked, serviced, and possibly rebuilt or replaced...It had been previously partially disassembled and does not have all hardware installed or included and may not have all areas needing repairs or parts needing replacement listed, so please check pics...
