Classic Mercedes 240D Diesel. Very low miles for this year and model. Original owner, bought at Lakeview Mercedes in 1980. Garaged until 2005, then refurbished and put back on the road.The good stuff:- Car runs great, no smoking or leaking.- New gas tank, belts, brake pads, left front caliper, muffler, battery.- Power windows and steering.- Super-clean, well-maintained car.- Has another few hundred thousand miles in the engine if properly maintained.The not so good stuff:- Minor rust at wheel wells and a few spots on body panels. Can send pics of all issues. - Passenger side front window sometimes balky. Always works but must press power button a few times.- When car is on incline, can slip out of park. I always use parking brake and have no problems.- The engine sometimes run on after ignition is shut off. Usually only lasts a few seconds. This was a known issue for 80s-era diesels - Mercedes put a kill switch under the hood that stops it if needed.Experienced Ebayer, no scams please. Serious buyers only.
