YOU ARE BIDDING ON A TRIUMPH TR3-A THAT IS TITLED 1963. THEY SOMETIMES DATED THEM THE YEAR SOLD NOT YEAR MANUFACTURED. THIS IS NOT A TR3-B I AM SELLING THIS CAR FOR A GOOD CUSTOMER THAT HAS JUST PURCHASED A MGTD AS HIS 2ND CAR AND HAS NO NEED TO KEEP THIS CAR DUE TO LACK OF SPACE. HISTORY OF THIS CAR AS I WAS TOLD: IT WAS PURCHASED IN TEXAS AS A PROJECT CAR AND BROUGHT HERE TO DELAWARE WHERE MY CUSTOMER FINISHED ASSEMBLING IT. HE PAINTED IT AND IT WAS HIS 1ST PAINT JOB AND ALTHOUGH IT LOOKS NICE IN THE PICTURES IT IS GRAINY AND HAS FLAWS. NO RUNS. IT IS NOT A SHOW CAR. YOU'D HAVE TO REPAINT IT OR WET SAND AND BUFF TO SMOOTH OUT THIS PAINT JOB. IT LOOKS GREAT GOING DOWN THE ROAD THOUGH. THAT IS WHAT HE USED IT FOR. A DAILY DRIVER , NOT A TRAILER / SHOW QUEEN. HE LOVES TO WORK ON THESE CARS AND THEN DRIVE THEM. THAT IS HIS JOY IN LIFE. HE IS CURRENTLY FINISHING ANOTHER TR3 NOW AND HE WILL DRIVE THAT WHILE HE FINDS ANOTHER CAR TO GET ON THE ROAD. THIS CAR HAS HAD THE CHASSIS PLATED SIDES AND BOTTOM FRONT TO BACK BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER THAT SAID HE DID THAT TO STIFFEN UP THE CHASSIS FOR RACING AS THESE TH3 CHASSIS FLEX OTHERWISE. NO SIGNS OF ROT OR ACCIDENT SO I HAVE TO BELIEVE THE STORY. PROFESSIONALLY / NICELY DONE. THE ENGINE RUNS STRONG WITH NO SMOKE AND PULLS HARD AS EXPECTED WITH LOTS OF POWER. THE TRANS IS JUST A LITTLE WEAK IN SHIFTING INTO 2ND GEAR,AS MOST ARE WITH HIGH MILES BUT NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL TO DRIVE. JUST CAN'T SPEED SHIFT INTO 2ND GEAR. THE CAR IS CURRENTLY TAGGED AND REGISTERED IN DELAWARE AS A DRIVE AS IT IS USED,NOT AS A COLLECTOR ,LIMITED TO SHOWS. THE OWNER USED TO DRIVE AS A DAILY DRIVER,THAT RIGHT A DAILY DRIVER. THE SEATS ARE JUST SET IN THE CAR AS HE HAD BEEN USEING SEATS OUT OF A MIATA AND WANTED TO KEEP THEM FOR HIS OTHER TR3 HE IS JUST FINISHING. THE TOP AND SIDE CURTAINS ARE GOOD TO KEEP THE WEATHER OUT, I'D SAY FAIR CONDITION. THE DOOR PANNELS AND CARPET ARE SHOWING THEIR AGE.
