Up for bids is a 1931 Ford Model A sedan rat rod. This car is hand built and has a clear Colorado title. The car features a 1958 Corvette 283 CID fed by a stock Chevy Quadrajet, The transmission is a built TH350 transmission with upgraded clutches and a 3500 stall hole-shot converter. The rear end is Chevrolet 12-bolt. The paint is satin black with gloss trim and the interior is 100% hand made and includes miles of painted sheet metal and simulated alligator skin seats and door panels. This is a daily driver, although not terribly comfortable for long road trips. The engine runs strong and has no funny noises or smoke. The rear is bagged with Vi-Air suspension and can be raised and lowered about 7" with the tank on-board and the controls in-dash. Suspension is tight and overall the car rides pretty smooth. This vehicle is not the typical rat rod in that it was NOT thrown together... every aspect of the car was methodically thought out and very well done. There are a few things the car does not have that may be required in your state, including but not limited to: Seat belts, turn signals, wipers, horn or any gauges. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR STATE to be sure this can be registered. We cannot be held responsible for state laws. This car is totally legal in the state of Colorado, but that's about the only law we're versed on. The vehicle is located in central Colorado and shipping can be arranged. Third party shippers are not preferred, but can be done if need be. We can deliver to within 500 miles of Denver for a nominal fee, free with the "buy it now" option.
