amxalan Store Up for sale is a 1974 Javelin with a 1974 Javelin AMX parts car for a total of two vehicles. Wife says it her of the car , so I am taking offers on the wife[ just kidding] Here is the history on this vehicle. First of all this is likely one of the cleanest rust free Javelin body you will find. Its restoration was started about 10 years ago by a friend of mine. He was moving so I purchased the cars with the intent of completing but like changed for me as well. The car was completely stripped of all hardware to do a rotisserie type restoration. Some minor body work was preformed but there were no major hole or issues as you will see in the pics. Engine, trans, hood, and cowl induction system are from a 1971 AMX . The engine was in good running condition when installed and does turn over by hand but I have never heard it run. Trans is a auto. Engine has headers and a new 4 barrel carb. Options include power steering, power brakes, and air. The under body is coated with POR 15 as well as the inner trunk and interior. The original plan was to make this a clone however the parts car is an AMX so you could build that way as well. Please note I have the title for the Javelin but not for the parts car but likely it can be tracked down if you want to go the direction of an AMX build. There are tons of parts as you can see form the pics as well as the parts from the parts car. I estimate 80 to 90 % complete. As you can see from the pics 50% of the work is already done and the car is well on its way to a total restoration of one of the finest muscle cars of the 1970's
